CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:
Assistant Project Manager
- Located Denver, CO - hybrid
- The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually and/ or contracted per project ($9,000-$11,000 per month worked), depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role
- Eligible for discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance.
- Benefits for this position include paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays; and other company-sponsored benefits. At this time, we do not offer health insurance or 401k.
Job Duties:
- Project coordination: Assisting with planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to make sure milestones are met
- Subcontractor management: Communicating with subs, collecting bids, issuing subcontracts, and ensuring work aligns with scope
- Document control: Managing RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, drawings, and change orders so everything is accurate and up to date
- Budget support: Helping track costs, review invoices, and monitor against the project budget
- Procurement: Ordering materials and ensuring long-lead items arrive on time
- Meetings & reporting: Taking notes, preparing updates, and keeping stakeholders informed
- Field support: Visiting job sites to observe progress, verify work, and help resolve issues
- Sales: always looking for new opportunities
Technical and interpersonal skills:
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Clear communication (you’ll talk to everyone from labor crews to executives)
- Time management and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Basic understanding of construction methods, drawings, and contracts
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed
- Ability to walk job sites, including uneven terrain, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of mid level management preferably in construction, hospitality, or comparable industry
- Ability to read construction documents, professional writing in emails and documentation, and basic construction math
- An associate degree or trade degree, NOT mandatory
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
